How should I pack items for storage?
Box your items - anything left un-boxed can get dusty. Fill boxes to capacity. Foam peanuts are handy for filling gaps in boxes.
Label everything - It's important to stay organized. Keep a permanent marker handy for labeling and make a master list of items to keep at home.
Weight it out - distribute weight in boxes evenly and keep in mind the weight of contents when stacking boxes.
Fragile - wrap all breakable items separately and pack these items into strong or reinforced boxes. Fill gaps with foam peanuts or other packing material. Mark boxes as "FRAGILE".
